“Requiem for a dream” – explicit and hard true about addiction.

“Requiem for a dream” – one of the best movies of independ filmmaker. Darren Aranofski – is a genius, who has shown the dark side of any addiction. This film impressed me very much,  I was shocked after watching it. Words are not enough to express all the emotions about this movie. Excellent play of actors ( Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly), the most  suitable music by Clint Mansell and Kronos Quartet, who created a musical masterpiece, original shooting, quality of such a shrilling sound. “Requiem for a dream” – funerals of the dream. The way that everybody has chosen himself.  Drugs – feeling of euphoria, when it seems that a dream is close to you, one step left. Weak people make this step and fall into a chasm instead of getting a dream come true. Dream that pushed you to this awffull actions. Dream that lead you to such an end. Requiem for you, for your dream. Why drugs? Scenes when heroes where happy, their laugh and smiles. Happy eyes when personages of Connelly and Leto looked at each other at the begining and doom and such a terrible hopelessness at the end, which was very strongly delivered by the actors in the last episode of  their meeting and phone talk. Door openes only in one side, entering it you lose everything you left behind it. Tears of Leto’s hero in the taxi, during the phone talk final show us this loose. Two the most precious people for Garry (Leto), who loved him and whom he loved,leave his life forever. And he, previous he goe away. Everything is left there, behind that door. And only teras here, like a requiem for might-have-been dream… Tshhhh…Do you hear the crush of these dreams?  Do you hear this silent requiem? Here it is. Sad, minor, poisonous… It calms… – NO, it kills slowly, like drugs… And like drugs are never enough for druf addicts, there are not enough points to evaluate unaxcelled, unique, genious, inexplicable,  many-sided, stupendous Darren Aranofski’s movie for ages.
